Your Deputy account has been growing for years. Nobody has stood back and looked at it.
Locations got added. Areas got created. People came and went. Every one of those was sensible at the time, and none of them came with a prompt to check what it did to everything else. Connect your account and we read it.
Your first one is free, and it takes about five minutes.

The checks in this report are theirs. Written down and made runnable, not a model's opinion about your business.
What comes back.
Your account at a glance
The facts every finding is read against. Team members, locations, states, areas, awards in play, whether area based pay is on. Nothing here is a grade.
Things worth checking
Red and amber. Pay setup, payroll export, areas and pay conditions, configuration and clutter. Each one names the actual records.
How much of Deputy you're using
A score out of a hundred, from eight signs we can measure. Most accounts are running on a fraction of what they pay for.
Things worth knowing
Not risks. Dormant areas, inactive profiles still counting as licences, back pay that won't appear in the next export.
All four of these, on your own account.
Every finding, the same four questions.
Areas with no pay condition attached
- What we saw
- Fourteen areas across four locations have no pay condition attached, while the same areas at your other venues do.
- How many
- 14
- Why it matters
- An area with no pay condition falls back to a default, which is rarely the one you would have picked. It is the kind of thing that only surfaces in a pay run.
- Where to look
- Locations, then each area listed, then Pay Conditions.
Amber means a difference that may well be deliberate. Worth a look, not a verdict.
Late Bar at Harbourside Grill, Docklands·Function Kitchen at The Rowley, Kewarra·and 12 more
It tells you where to look. It doesn't click anything for you.
Yours will be about your account, not this one.
What to fix now, what can wait, and what is worth knowing.
Red
Something is missing that the account needs. Hours with nowhere to be paid from, approved timesheets that were never exported, pay details with no payroll ID.
Amber
A difference that may well be deliberate. An area missing a pay condition its peers carry, a junior rate that no longer matches the age. Worth a look, not a verdict.
Info
Worth knowing, no risk implied. Clutter, licences, and things that will surprise you later if nobody mentions them now.
What it won't do.
It won't interpret your award or your EA, and it won't tell you whether you're compliant. Those are judgement calls that depend on how your agreement is meant to be read, and a tool claiming to make them for you is overselling.
And when it can't run a check, it says so.
Some checks can't run on some accounts. Where that happens the report says which ones and why, and nothing is assumed in their place. The utilisation score works the same way: signs Deputy's API can't tell us about are left out rather than guessed at.
Your first one is free. About five minutes.
We need read access, and it has to be an administrator.
- Read only. We look, and we can't change anything.
- Configuration and usage data: locations, areas, pay conditions, employment terms, roster and timesheet activity.
Not a system administrator? Send this to whoever is. Takes a minute.
Send it to whoever administers your Deputy account.

Clarity sessions
Live sessions on workforce, run by someone who has spent a decade inside Deputy. Bring what your health check turned up: the areas with no pay conditions, the export that keeps dropping people, the public holidays nobody can keep straight. Leave knowing how to fix it, alongside operators wrangling the same awards you are.
Let's make it make sense.
Your first one is free and takes about five minutes. You'll know more about your Deputy account than you did this morning.
