Why you need Clarity

Claude and other AI tools are good at writing code. They assume your computer is already set up to run it, and that you know how to keep it that way. Most people get stuck before the first line of code.

• No Terminal setup

  AI tools tell you to "open Terminal and run this", then can't see the error you get back. Clarity installs Claude Code, and Node.js, the engine it runs on, for you.

• Your accounts, connected

  Your code needs somewhere to live (GitHub), somewhere to go live (Vercel) and somewhere to keep its data (Supabase). Clarity sets each one up in your own name and connects them, with no keys or passwords to copy.

• Plugins and skills kept up to date

  Claude plugins, and the skills inside them, change without telling you, and nothing warns you when yours fall behind. Clarity keeps them up to date, because an out-of-date plugin is how a working setup quietly breaks or becomes insecure.

• Always on the latest version

  AI tools don't tell you when there's a new version to install. Clarity updates itself when a new release is out, so you're always on the latest one.

What the build looks like

Clarity takes your idea8 plan and turns it into a real product, from the first line of code to a live launch.

   One download gets your computer ready. Clarity installs Claude Code, the AI that writes your software, and Node.js, the engine it runs on. It connects GitHub, where your code is stored and backed up, Vercel, which puts your software online, and Supabase, which holds its data and handles logins. Then it keeps your Claude plugins up to date, because an out-of-date plugin is how a setup quietly becomes insecure.

2. 2Signed in, plan loaded from idea8

   Sign in with your Clarity Club account and the plan you wrote in idea8 is already there, every document included. There is no export and no import, because it is the same account.

3. 3Build with builder-kit

   A plugin for Claude Code that Clarity installs for you. It is the way our team builds software: it turns your plan into working software one tested step at a time and leaves every decision that matters with you. It works through five stages.

      Checks your computer is ready, starts your project and backs it up to your own private GitHub.

      Plan it
      Your idea8 plan is already in the project. builder-kit works out how it is put together and the order to build it in.

      Build it
      One step at a time. It checks each step does what the plan said before it moves on.

      Launch it
      Sets up automatic checks once, then each launch puts the changes live and confirms they work.

      Keep improving it
      Add features to what is live, pick up where you left off, and keep a record of every decision.

4. 4Launch

   builder-kit's Launch it stage, called out because it is the moment your software is real. Each launch reviews the changes, puts them live through Vercel with a private preview to check first, and confirms the live version works. An internal tool usually stops here.

5. 5Website, with PalateMCP
